Shows Announced for May and January 2021

HIGH END Munich & FINEST AUDIO SHOW Zurich

Last week the HIGH END SOCIETY presented the plans for the 2021 fairs in Munich and Zurich. The leading international audio trade show HIGH END will take place as usual at the MOC Munich from May 13 to 16, 2021. The FINEST AUDIO SHOW in Zurich is planned for January 9 and 10, 2021.

HIGH END Munich

The last few months have changed the world, and the spread of the Corona virus and all collective efforts to contain it have far-reaching consequences. "It quickly became obvious that we could not simply continue where we had left off," says Stefan Dreischärf, Managing Director of the HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH. "Knowing that the next HIGH END would be the first international audio show after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, we had to incorporate numerous fresh considerations into our preparations".

In the past weeks Stefan Dreischärf and his team have developed and implemented many innovative ideas. "We have taken advantage of the opportunities arising from this exceptional situation," he confirms. "We are convinced that the HIGH END still offers all the potential for successful business, while at the same time delivering an exciting experience for visitors even under these new conditions". Therefore Dreischärf will be increasing the focus of the leading international audio show on B2B in the future. Instead of one there will thus be two days reserved for trade visitors in 2021. This is meant to better balance the number of visitors, while, on the other hand, allowing for customer appointments without time pressure. Of course, proven products such as SOUNDSCLEVER and the HIGH END KOLLEG will also be present in May.

There is also a new supplier fair called IPS – International Parts & Supply. In a separate area of the MOC Munich, it offers manufacturers of supplier parts for the hi-fi industry an ideal platform to get in direct contact with their customers and to present their products in a target-group specific way, parallel to the HIGH END 2021.

To ensure that successful events can be held even in the times of Covid-19, the trade fair organizer is taking the best possible precautions to protect the health of everyone involved. All necessary measures, which are taken in case of a continuing risk of infection by the virus, are carried out in close cooperation with the MOC Munich and the responsible authorities and are implemented with the utmost care. Higher minimum stand sizes, wider aisles and regulated access to the halls are intended to ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable on the exhibition grounds. A sustainable and flexible hygiene and infection protection concept will ensure that the trade fair can take place without reservations.

FINEST AUDIO SHOW Zurich

Under the new name FINEST AUDIO SHOW Zurich the HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH continues the tradition of the HIGH END SWISS. With a contemporary profile and a comprehensive hygiene and infection protection concept, the established hi-fi show will take place as usual on January 9th and 10th, 2021 at the Mövenpick Hotel Zurich Regensdorf.

"The timing for a change couldn't be better", says Stefan Dreischärf, managing director of the organizer. With this new start, the HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH wants to offer its exhibitors once again a perfect stage to present novelties and innovations. "We are very pleased to be able to use our adapted concept to revive the desire for live experiences after the worldwide forced slumber", stresses Dreischärf. "This Hifi show will set important impulses for the audio industry".

So that also in times of Covid-19 successful fairs can be accomplished, the organizer takes the best possible precautions for the protection of the health of everyone involved. For the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Zurich, for example, e-ticketing will be offered for the first time, which has already proven its worth for the HIGH END. The applicable regulations are regularly updated in close cooperation with the responsible authorities and the hotel operator. For the Swiss Audio Show, adjustments have been made in many areas that also take into account the special circumstances of a hotel trade show. A sustainable and flexible hygiene and infection protection concept ensures that the fair can take place without any concerns under the changed conditions and that the health of all participants is protected.
