After the Insolvency

Loewe might be back in business soon

The new investor is planning a relaunch on the Kronach site in Germany with initially 40 jobs.

In July 2019, production of the television sets in Kronach was discontinued after the insolvency proceedings had failed. However, shortly before the turn of the year, an investor from Cyprus acquired the trademark rights and wants Loewe to continue to "remain associated with the label 'Made in Germany." He is currently negotiating with the city of Kronach to rent about half of the Loewe premises. As early as April, the management wants to be able to offer the complete current Loewe product range again – and present new products at IFA 2020. In the medium term, about 100 jobs should be created in Kronach.
