The Brinkmann Voltaire is to be launched in fall and offers a whole range of special features. For example, its high-voltage power supply is modeled after the external "RöNt" tube power supply from the German manufacturer.
In addition to the usual RCA and XLR inputs, the Voltaire, which according to Brinkmann is very load-stable, will offer the option of retrofitting a DAC or phono MM/MC module.
Prices are not yet final, but will probably be well above €20,000. Also presented were the new twelve-inch 12.0 tonearm for €3990 and a MKII version of the brand's stereo power amplifier (around €8990).
