New High End Turntable from Germany

48 Kilo Turntable: AMG Viella Forte

| UW

The chassis is made of a solid block of aircraft aluminum, the platter axle is 16mm thick and a 12-inch tonearm is used.

"Analog Manufaktur Germany" (AMG) is now crowning its product range with a turntable of superlatives: the chassis of the "Viella Forte" is visually similar to the AMG Viella – but more than twice as heavy. The platter alone weighs 14 kilograms. It is also made of aircraft-grade aluminum and is covered with an approximately 3 cm thick layer of PVC. AMG not only manufactures the aluminum tone arm in-house, but even the DC motor. Complete with tonearm, the Viella Forte costs 23,000 euros, or 24,500 euros in the "Engraved" version with a special resonance-reducing surface structure
