High End 2023: Ortofon with two new Tonearms

The new Ortofon tonearms presented at the High End are nine and twelve inches long and come at prices of €3000 and €3100.

Under the names AS-309R and AS-212R, analog specialist Ortofon presents two new tonearms in nine and twelve inch lengths, which are visually based on the no longer available Jelco types, but are new in all parts.

For example, the mount is made of brass parts, and the tube is made of aluminum. At first glance, the build quality appears to be top-notch. Of course, they also have the practical quick coupling system for a quick exchange of the headshell.

The prices are stated to be around €3000 and €3100.
