American company Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab presented a new phono preamp as well as a new turntable at the Munich audio show.
The MoFi MasterPhono is a new phono preamplifier "Made in USA" developed by hi-fi veteran Peter Madnick. Among other things, it comes with three phono inputs, outputs in XLR and RCA and a VU meter display. The phono preamp is expected to cost around €6,500.
In addition, MoFi Electronics also showed a new turntable that now sits at the top of the brand's line of record players. Designed by Alan Perkins, the new turntable does not yet have a name, but is expected to cost around €8,000.
