While Ultrasones in-ear flagship "Saphire" costs around 3000 Euros, the new "Ruby Sunrise" is available for 2300 Euros. Ultrasone has saved on the cost-intensive filters, and the symmetrically wired second cable is not included in the Ruby's scope of delivery. However, it can be purchased optionally and exchanged for the unbalanced cable which is connected to the aluminum case. The driver configuration is identical for both models: each of the two headphones contains no less than six transducers – two Balanced Armature drivers for the bass, another BA driver for the mids and a fourth for the high frequencies. In addition, two electrostatic drivers operate in the super high frequency range. Earplugs made of silicone and memory foam are included in different sizes. Ultrasone offers a five-year warranty for the headphones and a two-year warranty for the cable. The Ruby Sunrise will be available exclusively in Ultrasone's online shop from March 1st.
