Wharfedale WPods: true-wireless in-ears for 99€

| UW

The British manufacturer promotes the in-ears as an affordable alternative to Apple's AirPods.

They are the first "True Wireless" headphones from Wharfedale, and their name is a deliberate allusion to Apple's AirPods. The WPods are splash-proof and sweat-resistant, and their touch-sensitive controls let you change songs or adjust the volume. Thanks to the integrated microphone, they are also suitable for making phone calls. Wharfedale indicates a battery life of 4 hours – with a further 12 hours in the supplied recharge case. When the headphones are removed from their case, a Bluetooth connection is automatically established with the playback device and it is disconnected again when they are put back. The scope of delivery also includes silicone earplugs in 3 sizes. The WPods are available immediately in matt white or matt black.
