On the go, for example in the subway, they are acting as over-ear headphones; but the "Passion Turn" literally transform into a speaker with 2x 3 watts of power at home or at a party by turning the ear pieces. An optional audio cable and the integrated microSD card slot provide an even higher degree of freedom and support low power consumption.
An equalizer allows setting personal sound preferences like more bass or more treble. A microphone including voice assistant support (Siri/Google Assistant) is available for calls, the volume can be conveniently adjusted via a knob, and a multi-function button for smartphone functions is also included. The German company Hama has also taken care of wearing comfort by giving the headphones a padded headband and soft ear pads. The whole device is foldable and comes in a compact pouch. The manufacturer states up to 18 hours of listening/telephone time in headphone mode and up to 3.5 hours in speaker mode with a fully charged battery. The "Passion Turn" costs €99 in Germany and is available immediately.
