Successor to the K series

Canton Renews the Reference Line

German loudspeaker manufacturer Canton presents the successors of the K series.

The new speakers feature elaborate curves with different radii and extremely stabilized cabinets with new drivers and materials. The new Reference line ranges from the compact Reference 9 for about €3,500 to the floorstanding Reference 1 somewhere in the five-digit price range.

Right at the top and limited to 50 pairs is the Reference GS Edition, which bears the name "GS Edition" from company founder and boss Günter Seitz for the company's anniversary and costs €50,000 per pair. Rather tall, weighing quite a bit, and equipped with a dome tweeter with diamond layer in addition to the driver technology of the series, it marks the new highest rank in the house of Canton – and sounded excellent.
