DALI Presents the Epikore 11

DALI introduces the new Epikore 11 loudspeakers at the High End audio show, placed between the flagship Kore and the Epicon series.

After DALI introduced the flagship Kore at last year's High End – read our review of the €80,000 speaker here –, the first smaller speaker to benefit from the Kore's technology was now shown. According to DALI, the tweeter unit of the Epikore 11 is the same as in the Kore.

Also taken over, among other things, is the use of the material SMC, which is supposed to significantly reduce distortion in the drivers; as well as some other parts of the drivers. DALI promises that the Epikore can work well with a wide range of amplifiers.

The Epikore's four woofers are divided into two groups that drive slightly different frequencies. The dispersion and thus the sweet spot is also said to be very wide.

The new Epikore 11 floorstanding speaker from DALI is stated to cost 40,000€ per pair.
