The closed loudspeakers of the active "Focus" series will be available in three sizes: as a standmount model (Focus 10), a medium floorstanding speaker with two mid-woofers and a tweeter (Focus 30) and as a large floorstanding speaker with two woofers, a mid-woofer and a tweeter (Focus 50).
All models in the product line come with optional wireless connection between the speakers. Without a cable, transmission of files with up to 24Bit/96kHz is said to be possible; if an optional cable is used, the maximum resolution is said to be 192kHz. The Focus speakers are also equipped with inputs for stereo RCA (analog), coax (digital) and optical cables. In addition, they offer wireless connection options for Bluetooth 4.2 and Airplay 2, as well as integrated streaming via Chromecast Built-In, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, QPlay, UPnP and internet radio.
The new Focus speakers from Dynaudio are also equipped with user-friendly features such as automatic signal detection and an EQ that automatically applies adjustments when the magnetic front cover is removed.
The speakers are expected to go on sale at prices of around €5,000* (Focus 10), around €7,500* (Focus 30) and around €10,000* (Focus 50). Various different finishes are to be available.
