Perlisten wants to especially target the field of home theater with the new in-wall speakers. These are part of the series "S" – the currently only speaker series that carries the certificate "THX Dominus" – and "R" and are thus to represent in-wall variants of the other speakers from the respective lines.
As the flagship of the new Perlisten in-wall speakers, the S7i are said to be based in large parts on the S7t floorstanding speaker and come with an installation depth of 10cm. All in-wall models of the S series – S7i and S5i each as center "C" as well as normal model "LR" and the S4i-LCRS intended for surround use – carry the same DPC array for the mid-high drivers as all other S speakers. This consists of a 28mm beryllium dome and two 28mm TPCD domes, which together with the waveguide are supposed to promise high precision, smoothness and more. This is enclosed by the woofers, which are also Perlisten's own design.
In addition, Perlisten also introduces somewhat cheaper alternatives, as the R-series also gets in-wall speakers, the models R5i-LR and -C and R4i-LCRS. These are said to be based on the manufacturer's R-series as well as inheriting technologies from the S-series. For example, they also carry a DPC array with three 26mm domes as well as 165mm woofers.
All new in-wall speakers from Perlisten should be available immediately*. The "LR" and the center variants each come at the same price*. This (MSRP) is about €7500* for the top model S7i, and about €6500* for the S5i. The in-wall models of the R-series from Perlisten should cost about €3000* (R5i) and €2500* (R4i-LCRS), respectively.
