First and foremost, iFi Audio showed the new headphone amplifier including preamp iCan Phantom, which among other things wants to impress with its features for electrostatic headphones and is adaptable to different models. It can also work as a pure preamplifier, carrying inputs and outputs in both RCA and XLR. The headphone amplifier, which works partly with tubes, is stated to cost about €3750.
In addition, iFi also presented the new headphone amplifier iDSD Diablo X, which is primarily intended for driving in-ears with special piezo MEMS drivers. For in-ear fans, there are also the new GO Pods, portable Hi-Res Bluetooth receivers that connect directly to in-ear monitors. For now, the GO Pods are available directly with in-ears from various manufacturers, coming at prices ranging from around €800 to €1400.
