Uprade streaming features

Primare Streaming-Bridge NP5

From Sweden comes a small streamer without analog output. Upgrading an existing hi-fi system with streaming functions is now possible with the NP5 from Primare for 500 Euros.

The small streaming bridge accepts signals from streaming services or from the home network via LAN socket or WLAN with up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. There are just digital outputs in S/PDIF optical and coax. The device is operated via the App. Thanks to Chromecast built-in, virtually all streaming services can be used. If you want to play music from your smartphone, you can do so via Airplay 2 or Bluetooth. With a firmware update, the NP5 should even become Roon-ready. Older Primare components can be connected to the NP5 via the RS-232 interface to control volume and input selection from the app. Owners of such devices even get the NP5 for half the price.
