The new one is to cost almost 2000 euros. It is equipped with a DAC chip ES 9026 Pro from ESS, and in addition to optical and coaxial S/PDIF input, Pioneer has now even provided it with a USB port for PC connection. This way it can, for example, decode the MQA files from the Tidal streaming service. Three switchable digital filters allow the sound preferences "soft and warm", "powerful and dense" and "dynamic". Pioneer's drive design is based on low noise and minimal vibration. Separate power supplies supply digital and analogue circuits. Pioneer will also be showcasing two new products at IFA: the SC-LX904 network AV receiver with 11 power amplifiers (2700 Euro) and the SC-LX704 (9 power amplifiers, 1800 Euro). All three new products will be on the market in the course of November.
