The new version 2.3 of the "innuOS" operating system is supposed to bring new features to the streamers and music servers of the manufacturer Innuos in addition to small improvements as well as bug fixes. Among other things, the update is stated to activate an MQA core decoder on Innuos devices, which can now stream and play MQA files; MQA passthrough was already available previously.
Furthermore, the manufacturer announces that with the new update, music purchased from Qobuz can be downloaded directly to an Innuos server via the Innuos app. In addition, it is now possible to disable the synchronization of content from the streaming services Qobuz and Tidal with each other or with the music on a server. This is supposed to keep the collections separate, while still selectable in the app. The update is available via the Innuos "Sense" app, which is also responsible for controlling the components.
