First Turntable from Sonoro

Sonoro "Platinum" in the STEREO Listening Room

The new "Platinum" is the first turntable from Sonoro. Of course, we immediately ordered a test device, which plays in the STEREO listening room at this very moment.

The modern, belt-driven turntable features precise components that are supposed to ensure excellent sound. These include an optically regulated DC motor, a height-adjustable tonearm with low-friction precision bearings, an interchangeable headshell with bayonet connection and an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge with an elliptically cut needle.

It has an integrated phono preamplifier, USB, an A/D converter, gold-plated RCA connectors and Bluetooth. Thus, the Platinum turntable can be connected to almost any music system. The USB port even allows you to easily digitize your own vinyl record collection.

A cast aluminum platter rests on a stable turntable frame finished with high-quality piano lacquer. The cover is made of acrylic, was developed and designed in Germany and is available in white, black and matte graphite and fits effortlessly into any interior design style.

The Platinum turntable weighs almost 4 kg and measures 125mm x 420mm x 356mm (HxWxD). It is now available* in black, white and matte graphite for about 600 Euros (MSRP)*.
