The two new Technics earbuds EAH-AZ80 and EAH-AZ60M2 are said to feature, among other things, high and long-term wearing comfort, for which they also come with seven different earpieces for individual adjustment. The EAH-AZ80, for example, is furthermore said to have a housing adapted to the ear. The headphones are also claimed to be very suitable for phone calls thanks to the "JustMyVoiceTM" technology with multiple microphones, which recognizes the voice and suppresses background noise.
As the flagship true-wireless headphones from Technics, the EAH-AZ80 carry a 10mm aluminum driver, which is said to reduce distortion, among other things. Furthermore, the sound of the two earbuds is said to be optimized by, among other things, an acoustic chamber inside their housing. The headphones carry Technics' own noise cancelling technology, which is supposed to effectively suppress noise thanks to a filter and feedback as well as feedforward microphones, according to the manufacturer. They also offer two ambient noise modes, which are supposed to make either all ambient noise or specifically voices well audible.
Both Bluetooth headphones are controlled via the Technics app, which offers adjustments for the noise-cancellation and ambient-noise modes, among other things, as well as an equalizer and configuration options for operation via the earpieces directly. Both models come with a carrying case that works as a charging station, which is said to increase battery life (without noise cancelling) from 7.5 hours to 25 hours. Furthermore, they can be connected to up to three devices simultaneously with Bluetooth.
Both new headphones from Technics are said to be available now*, and each come in black or silver. The EAH-AZ80 as the "flagship" has an MSRP of around €300*, while the EAH-AZ60M2, which is also available in "Midnight Blue", is stated to cost around €230*.
