Affordable Focal-Speakers

| UW

Focal not only builds really expensive loudspeakers, but now launches the Chora series - a new generation of high-quality yet affordable loudspeakers.

These are ported speakers that replace the Chorus series. The French manufacturer has developed a new composite material for the diaphragms of the midrange and bass loudspeakers: a combination of a thermoplastic polymer and a fleece made of recycled carbon fibres. It has high damping and stiffness with an extremely low mass at the same time. The Focal-typical aluminum/magnesium tweeters are responsible for the high frequencies. The Chora series comprises the Chora 826 (pair price 1400 Euro) and Chora 816 (1200 Euro/pair) floorstanding loudspeakers and the Chora 806 standmount speaker (600 Euro/pair). They are available in the colors Black, Light Wood and Dark Wood. Next year, further models for home cinema will be added to the Chora series.
