Affordable integrated amp from Norway

With the new integrated amplifier ECI-80D from the "Classic Line", Electrocompaniet from Norway is addressing younger music listeners in particular.

It offers 2 analog high level and one phono MM input as well as 2x S/PDIF coaxial and 3x optical. A special feature that is still rare even with modern amplifiers: the integrated 2-way HD Bluetooth module can receive music from a smartphone as well as send music to wireless headphones. Conventional headphones can also be connected via 2 jacks on the rear panel. According to the data sheet, the Class A/B power amplifiers provide 2x80 watts at 8 ohms. The electronics are powered by a switching power supply. The ECI-80D, like all models of the Classic Line series, is manufactured in Norway. It will be available in October for 2100 Euro.
