Audio Reference has been supporting the Velodyne brand as a German distribution partner for 20 years. After more than one year of intensive negotiations, David Hall has now sold Velodyne Acoustics to Mamaghani. In the future, Hall wants to concentrate entirely on his young Velodyne LIDAR business. The purchase includes all patents, designs and tools for Velodyne acoustic subwoofers. Mansour Mamaghani has already assembled the design team to further develop the existing product line. The goal is to make Velodyne Acoustics the market leader for compact, high-performance subwoofers again. The worldwide distribution of Velodyne Acoustics will in future also be controlled by Audio Reference in Hamburg, Germany.
