HiRes-Streaming

BluOS supports Amazon Music HD

The wireless multroom streaming platform BluOS already supports the new, high-resolution streaming service Amazon Music HD.

BluOS comes from Bluesound, but is also licensed to other manufacturers as an open platform. This means that not only Bluesound's own multiroom devices support Amazon Music HD, but also products of the sister company NAD and the Danish loudspeaker manufacturer DALI, whose "Callisto" models can be upgraded with the optional "BluOS" module to full-fledged streamers. BluOS is one of the few multi-room platforms that can stream high-resolution music data at 24 bit / 192 kHz to the players integrated in the network – including the HiRes files from Amazon Music HD.
