The cable manufacturer JIB-Germany has created a new inner conductor structure for the Evolution BLACK.series: It is called EVO.next.OCC and consists of a specific arrangement of multi stranded inner conductor strands made of silver-plated copper conductors and pure copper conductors. In terms of sound, it should be placed between the Copper and Silver series.
To start with, four analog LF cables, one USB 2.0 and one S/PDIF cable, five different speaker cables including bi-wiring and bi-amping, and a power cable are offered. The cotton-sheathed Evolution cables are available in standard lengths of 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m and 3 m, and the speaker cables in 2 m, 2.5 m, 3 m and 4 m. Special lengths are available on request. All contacts of the Evolution models are 24k gold plated. The loudspeaker cables are supplied with exchangeable hollow banana and cable lugs. Prices for 2x1 m RCA start at 300 Euro, for 2x2 m speaker cables at 500 Euro.
