The smallest model "Home 150" for 250 Euro has a footprint of only 12x12 cm and reproduces both stereo channels together via a tweeter and a bass/midrange speaker. In the next larger "Home 250" (500 Euro) this equipment is available twice - separately for left and right channel. In addition, a passive membrane supports the bass reproduction. The 38 cm wide "Home 350" (700 Euro) is even equipped with 2 three-way arrangements. All three models can be grouped as a stereo pair or as surround speakers in a 5.1 system if desired. AV receivers and other HEOS-compatible models from Denon and Marantz can be combined with the new home speakers to form a multi-room system. Connections and features are the same for the 3 models: USB-A for mass storage, Ethernet and analogue mini jack, WLAN, AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth, integrated access to the streaming services Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, Tidal and Deezer, HiRes playback 192 kHz/24 bit (FLAC, WAV, ALAC) and DSD up to 5.6 MHz. Quick-dial buttons allow you to access web radio, streaming services or the Aux input directly without opening the app. The Home series supports Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa with their respective compatible devices. There are even microphones already built in, which are expected to be able to receive Alexa commands directly via firmware update in the course of 2020. The home speakers will be available in black and white at the end of January 2020.
