New Fully Automatic Turntables

Dual CS 458 and CS 465

| UW

The manufacturer from southern Germany has revised its fully automatic record players in numerous details. The CS 458 (550 Euro) and CS 465 (from 800 Euro) are subchassis turntables with solid MDF panels and new, particularly low-friction and very precise tonearm bearings.

Another new feature is the internal wiring of the tonearm with a particularly flexible strand that does not resist the movement of the tonearm. The turntable speed is electronically controlled to 33 or 45 rpm. The CS 465 also offers a choice of 78 rpm. The CS 458 is equipped with an AT 91E MM pickup from Audio-Technica, while the CS 465 is supplied with a pre-assembled Ortofon 2M Red. It is available in matt or glossy black or in real wood cherry veneer. The CS 458 is available in either matt black or wood.
