MAGAZINEThe "Sphono" (2500 Euro) consists of 2 separate cabinets with 4 mm thick aluminum walls: one houses the linear power supply, the other the actual amplifier. You can switch between the 4 inputs on the front panel. On the rear two switches are available for each input, at which the input resistance for MC systems can be selected from 56 Ohm to 47 Kiloohm and the input capacity for MM scanners from 47 to 470 picofarads. A subsonic filter can be switched on as well as +6 dB amplification, and equalisation can be selected according to RIAA or IEC standards. The output signal is tapped via Cinch or XLR sockets.
