New and affordable speakers

New "Stage" Speaker Series presented by JBL

Floorstanding speakers, shelf speakers, center speakers and subwoofers: JBL introduces the "Stage" series with nine new speakers for hi-fi and home theater.

With the new "stage" series, the traditional US brand JBL wants to offer an affordable line of speakers. There is a choice of three 2.5 way floorstanding speakers (unit prices between €330 and €500 in Germany), two 2-way bookshelf speakers (€220 and €275 in Germany) as well as two center speakers (€330/€400 in Germany) and two powered subwoofers (€385/€500 in Germany). Except for the small center, all models carry a bass reflex port.

The floorstanding speakers are each equipped with two woofers, to which the crossover assigns slightly offset crossover frequencies – hence them being "2.5 way" speakers. With their ribbed woofer cones made of white polycellulose, the stage models are supposed to be reminiscent of legendary JBL looks. In the high-frequency range, JBL uses 25-millimeter aluminum domes with a special sound guide.

All floorstanding speakers come with four outriggers including spikes and rubber feet. The new Stage models from JBL are available now in Germany.
