Clearaudio has several new products on display at the High End audio show 2022. Above all, this includes the phono preamplifier "Balance Reference Phono" for around 7900 euros (in Germany). The two-part device with external PSU has two completely independent amplifier circuits, which can be fed balanced or unbalanced. DIP switches on the underside of the device offer various adjustment possibilities; a remote control is also available. In addition, it carries two headphone outputs, which are said to also be able to drive high-impedance models without problems.
Furthermore, Clearaudio presents a new tonearm with the "Profiler". It is a symbiosis of the Satisfy entry-level arm and the larger Tracer. Double vertical bearings and a dome that protects against resonance are intended to make the Profiler, which is available in black and silver like the Phono-Pre, stand out clearly from the Satisfy in terms of quality; thus, it is said to be the perfect partner for the turntables from Clearaudio's Performance series. The Profiler costs around 1900 euros on its own in Germany. As a suitable partner for Devialet's popular "Phantom" active speakers, Clearaudio also shows a version of the "Concept" turntable with a fitting design.
