High End Audio Show: Transrotor presents Strato Nero and Bianco

At the High End Audio Show, Transrotor presents a booth filled with flowers and, among other things, the "Strato nero" turntable, equipped with an aluminum/acrylic chassis, and the "Strato Bianco" in light acrylic.

Weighing around 40 kilograms and driven by three motors, the turntable is fully equipped and comes at a price of around 20,000 euros*. That includes the large Transrotor TRA9 tonearm – reviewed by us here – in chrome, on which the top MC pickup Figaro sits.

The platter rotates on a TMD magnetic bearing, and control/supply works via the "FMD" PSU. On the right of the above picture, you see the new Massimo nero, which comes "only" as a pure drive for a price of just under 4500 euros*.

*Prices for Germany.
