Designed specifically for the 20V source devices of the RS/RS2 series of Pro-Ject, the new Power Box RS2 Sources is being introduced, which intends to supply these devices with clean power. Among other things, this is to be ensured by the large toroidal transformer inside the Power Box together with high-capacity filtering. The external, linear power supply unit offers connection options for up to four devices, the sound quality of which the Power Box RS2 Sources is supposed to significantly increase. Furthermore, the fact that the PSU is then separated from the signal processing in the device thus operated is also said to contribute to that.
Pro-Ject's new external power supply is made in Europe and comes in an aluminum housing, available in either silver or black.
The new Pro-Ject Power Box RS2 Sources PSU is scheduled to be available in April for approximately €1000 MSRP in Germany.
