The ECI-6 MKII is an analog integrated amplifier with three Cinch and one XLR input as well as one pre-out each in Cinch and XLR. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the almost 20 kilo heavy amp should deliver 2 x 125 watts into 8 ohms. It is also modular and can be retrofitted with a digital board to become the streaming-capable ECI-6DX MKII. Then, two optical and coaxial digital as well as one asynchronous USB input plus Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, AirPlay, Bluetooth, Internet Radio and DLNA come on top of the analog connectivity. In addition to improvements of the streamer, the app and the analog inputs, the design of the front panel has been updated and the chasis has been stiffened compared to its predecessor. The Bluetooth option is also new. The ECI-6DX MKII can either be operated via remote control or via the manufacturer's app and costs around 7000 Euro*. The ECI-6 MKII without digital sources and streaming costs about 5.600 Euro*.
