High End: New Speakers and Turntable from Einstein

The German manufacturer Einstein presents both the new super loudspeaker "Monolith" as well as an air-cushioned turntable.

Einstein went all out at the High End audio show. The high end manufacturer from western Germany presented the huge modular speakers "Monolith", which, according to owner Volker Bohlmeier, are designed as a 2-way system with an additional active subwoofer with 1400 watts of power and a super tweeter. The sound was dynamic, effortless and powerful; the price, however, was also accordingly: somewhere in the 6 digits, with the first digit being a "1".

The Einstein turntable, belt-driven and resting on an air cushion, also attracted attention with its exciting design details; such as electronic tension and wear control of the belt or smart adjustment options for tonearms. Price without arm: around €60,000.
