Dry after just two revolutions

New Record Cleaning Machine from Rekkord Audio

The platter of the new, relatively affordable record cleaning machine "RCM" by Rekkord Audio can spin at two speeds.

German company Rekkord Audio presents a new rcord cleaning machine, coming under the name "RCM". It is a manually operated device, which, according to the manufacturer, has a particularly reliable and powerful motor. A weight fixes the record on the two-stage rotating platter, which has a microporous layer, and, on top of that, protects the label from the cleaning fluid.

The metal vacuum arm carries self-adhesive strips that can be replaced by hand. The internal tank holds up to two liters of the eco-friendly cleaning fluid. Due to the strong vacuum power, the manufacturer states that the record should be dry in no time. Rekkord Audio promises "high-end build quality" for the RCM, which is made in Europe from four-millimeter aluminum composite panels.

The Rekkord Audio RCM is available now in Germany, coming at an MSRP of around €700.

Dank kräftiger Absaugung soll die Record RCM die Platte nach dem Waschen innerhalb von ein bis zwei Umdrehungen trocken sein.
