New Shelf Speaker Q Acoustics 3030i

The new compact 3000 series is equipped with the same chassis as the large 3050i.

It is only 20 cm wide, yet there is a 17 cm bass/midrange driver in the new speaker. The driver is taken from the 3050i floorstander, which of course is equipped with two such transducers. The frequency response of the compact 3030i should reach down to 46 Hz (-6 dB). The new speaker also inherited the tweeter from its big brother. It is elastically suspended to decouple it from the baffle and the vibrations of the bass driver. Four colours are available: graphite grey, white, walnut and black. The new ones cost 400 Euros per pair. Also new at Q Acoustics is the B12 subwoofer, which costs 600 euros in black or white and 800 euros with high-gloss finish.
