Inside the Caruso is a new network module which, for the first time in a T+A device, provides access to the music streaming services Amazon Music and Spotify Connect. Qobuz, Deezer and Tidal are also still on board. A new feature is the online access to Gracenote, which brings the metadata including album covers to the 7-inch front display. This is a high-resolution touch screen that controls all device functions. From the home network, the Caruso supports all relevant sound formats and Apple's Airplay 2 protocol via LAN or WLAN, and it receives Bluetooth signals with AAC or aptX. Local sources can be integrated via 2 pairs of cinch, 1xS/PDIF optical and 1x coax. The Caruso receives radio via FM and DAB+. As sound converters, 2 tweeters, two mid-range and one long-throw woofer are built in, supported by 2 passive diaphragms. The data sheet states a continuous output of 200 Watts. The unit is available from January for 2750 Euro.
