MQA now also for External Sources

The Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 now has an MQA Core Decoder

Via a software update, the largest integrated amplifier from Lyngdorf has now been equipped with a full MQA decoder.

Lyngdorf Audio already provided the TDAI-3400 with an update in October 2020, which added the then newly introduced Tidal Connect feature. This already gave it the ability to stream MQA files via Tidal. The MQA Core Decoder, which was added with this update, now allows this in even higher resolution and furthermore enables the playback of MQA files from other sources, such as from a local USB drive, a connected computer or via UPnP.

Of course, the TDAI-3400's built-in media player continues to work with Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, has DLNA support (UPnP), Airplay, local file playback (USB) and Internet Radio (vTuner).

The software update is available now and should be easily accessible in the amplifier's app menu or via external upload from an SD card or USB.
