Pearl

Phono-Preamp from Genuin Audio

Genuin Audio's brand-new phono-preamp is called "Pearl" and can be supplied by an MM- and MC-cartridge simultaneously.

Developed by Walter Fuchs, the Pearl's separate Cinch and XLR inputs allow connection of two pickups at the same time. DIP switches can be used to adjust gain, MM capacitance and MC resistance. The enclosure consists of a sheet steel inner shell and an additional aluminum outer layer, which are firmly screwed together. It stands on decoupled feet to prevent vibrations. The power supply unit with toroidal transformer is housed separately. The Pearl is available in black or silver for just under 5000 Euros.
