Cheaper Price for Owners of Older Versions

Audirvana License Available Again

With "Audirvana Studio", the player software "Audirvana" switched to being a subscription sevice last year. Now, the French company (re-)introduces a one-time-purchase version, which does not include access to streaming content.

Following the example various software companies, Audirvana started offering their player software exclusively subscription-based not too long ago. This subscirption plan comes at a price of 7 euros per month and replaced the one-time-purchse version, which was previously available as "Audirvana 3.5". Now, a "Lifetime" license version is available again: It is called "Audirvana Origin" and costs around 120 euros including taxes. Users who own a license for an earlier Audirvana version (1, 2, 3 or 3.5) pay a reduced special price.

The remote app for iOS and Android is available for free. "Origin" differs from "Studio" – the subscription version – only in that it does not include access to music streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz and HighResAudio. It is therefore a pure player for music on a local storage. The music processed by Audirvana can either be output to a DAC via USB or streamed to a network player via DLNA.

Exclusive audio features like the analysis of HiRes files and the integration of audio plugins are identical in "Origin" and "Studio", as is the puristic audio processing. Audirvana guarantees at least one feature update per year until 2025 and operating system compatibility updates for at least two years. A free, 30-day Trial of the software is also available.
