The new integrated amplifiers naturally share the elegant design and finish with the recently introduced Rotel Michi P5, Rotel Michi S5 and Rotel Michi M8 models.
The Michi X5 integrated amplifier comes with 14 inputs and the X3 with 13. These include XLR, USB with DSD as DoP and MQA rendering, Bluetooth, Phono MM and (only on the X5) MC. An AKM-32Bit/768kHz DAC is supposed to provide highest accuracy and best timing.
The X5 is driven by two specially designed oversized toroidal transformers. It delivers 600 Watt output power into 4 Ohm and 350 Watt into 8 Ohm. A particularly complex and separate power supply for all sensitive circuits is designed to effectively protect the finest audio signals from unwanted interference and distortion.
All options can be selected via the graphic color display using the metal remote control. The display can be configured to show either the operating status, a 12-band graphic EQ or a peak power meter. The RS232 and Ethernet connection ensures easy integration into existing automation systems.
The Michi X3 integrated amplifier delivers 350 watts of power into 4 ohms and 200 watts into 8 ohms loads. It is driven by a highly efficient, oversized and specially designed toroidal transformer that feeds the numerous independent voltage regulators and separate circuits for the analog, digital and power amplification sections.
The Michi X3 will be available from authorized dealers in October 2020 for around 5,000 Euros and the Michi X5 in November 2020 for around 7,000 Euros.
