MAGAZINE
It is called "Series 3" and has a drop-shaped design. Thanks to the integrated Linn-DSM network player, it can access music from the home network via LAN or WLAN in all relevant sound formats (up to 24 bit/192 kHz). The streaming services Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon as well as Airplay and Bluetooth are supported. The TV sound can be fed in via the HDMI Audio Return Channel. Six buttons on the top side are provided for the most important control options – otherwise Linns Control App or voice control via an external Smart Speaker is the solution. The Series 3 is equipped with a silk dome tweeter and a 16 cm long-throw woofer/midrange driver, which are always perfectly in time thanks to exact control mechanisms. For true stereo reproduction, Linn offers a special version of the Series 3, which is connected to the master speaker via "Exakt Link" cable. This eliminates latencies between the left and right speakers. Several Series 3 speakers can also be combined to form a multi-room system. The approximately 30 cm high loudspeaker is available immediately with golden grill in the department store Harrods. Later it will also be sold with chrome grill at specialized shops. The price is indicated to be 3365 Euros for the single box and 6215 Euros for the pair.
