DALI Oberon 9

New 3-Way Flagship

DALI's new premium model from the Oberon series, the Oberon 9, is equipped with two 230 mm woofers and has a height of 1.20 meters.

After the Danes behind DALI presented the active Oberon C series last month, they now further expand their entry-level series: The new DALI Oberon 9 is almost 1.20 meters high, weighs 37 kg and is equipped with a heavy-duty 3-way system, making it the perfect loudspeaker for spacious to very large living rooms and home theaters. The respectable sound pressure of up to 113 decibels is generated by two huge woofers with a diameter of 230 mm each, a 175 mm midrange driver and a 29 mm fabric tweeter dome tweeter.

The three cone drivers feature membranes made of the reddish mixture of cellulose and wood fibers typical for DALI speakers. Their irregular surface structure and a special coating are supposed to give the drivers excellent acoustic properties. The patented SMC magnetic material, which is also a typical feature of DALI products, promises playing music with particularly low loss and distortion.

The floorstanding speaker, equipped with two rear bass reflex ports, will be available from mid-November 2020* in the finishes black ash and dark walnut at all authorized DALI dealers. The recommended retail price is around 1,600 Euro per pair*.
